Headwaters Art Society at Pynelogs

Bill Doroshuk's work shows beautifully at Pynelogs!

Friday night was the reception for the Purcell Mountain Painters/ Headwaters Art Society Show at Pynelogs Cultural Centre. There was a good turnout for the reception. I was very proud of the amount of work the Headwaters Art Society had in the show. We are doing a great job! Keep painting. We will try to keep the show schedule rolling in.

Paint out alert!

Wednesday night from 6:30 until 8 or so, painting overlooking Columbia lake. Come and join the Headwaters group. If you can't make 6:30 come a little later. You may get to see the new Art room.
I will go out today and tie flourescent orange streamer along the route.

For those coming from Invermere or points north, from highway 93 turn onto Burns ave. then left on Grainger. Then drive, drive past the mountain sheep, past the beach turnoff (stay on Grainger) until you see orange streamers and/or painters.

An award!

Red Head won second place at Vis Arts at Artrageous gallery. I have always liked this painting and apparently, someone else saw merit in it too. The nice little cash prize will be very appreciated.

 

The Wings Art show reception

Congratulations Kristine on your "red dot" at the Wings over the Rockies reception. There was a really good turn out and lots of enthusiasm for the beginning of the summer art receptions. Hope to see lots of people at the next reception for the Purcell Mountain Painters/Headwaters Art Society show.
