The Headwaters Art Society was formed to support artists, writers, musicians, dancers and other creative people in the Columbia River Headwaters area.
In November 2011, we held an art show and sale in our community centre. We have plans to create a dedicated art room in the new Canal Flats Discovery Centre. We would like to hear from people who would like to become involved with the society.
We are currently holding art nights in the senior's centre in Canal Flats. We are preparing for an art show to be held in conjunction with the "Wings Over the Rockies" event in the beginnning of May 2012.
